5:00 PM - "The Value of Visitors: Heritage Tourism in Downtown Maine". Eastport for Pride will host Roxanne Eflin and Judy Barrington, Maine Preservation, for a dinner talk. Eflin and Barrington will be speaking about their experiences in working with downtowns to attract visitors with a penchant for historic commercial vitality. Recently, Maine Preservation collaborated with the Maine Historic Preservation Commission and the Maine Office of Tourism to publish the new Maine Architecture Trail map and guide, targeted specifically to help boost heritage tourism across the state.
