a talk given by Bob and Suzanne Kelly of House Revivers and Kelly Realty Management of Bangor. The Kellys have been deeply involved in the revitalization of downtown Bangor. The last four projects they have worked on, are mixed-use residential-commercial buildings in the heart of Bangor's downtown. They will share their insights learned from restoring and maintaining the unique architectural heritage of Bangor.

Tides Institute, 43 Water Street, Eastport. Fee: $15, including supplies. Enrollment limited to 8 participants. Call 853-0703 to enroll. Of course, moose will be the subject of the prints we make in this workshop. Develop a moose image, make a printmaking plate, and print multiple copies of your artwork to take home. We'll use an easy-to-cut, flexible synthetic material for the printmaking plates, linoleum cutters as tools, and water-based printing ink. Learn the process of multi-color printmaking along the way. Feel free to bring photographs or sketches of moose to work from if you'd like. We'll have some moose reference materials on hand just in case.
