This is a great event to celebrate the work of DSF and our partners. This year we will be honoring 90 year old Ray Robinson of Dennysville for his life long commitment to salmon restoration and river protection! Ray was one of the founders of DSF over 20 years ago and has been a long term leader of the Dennys River Sportsman's Club.
There will be many raffle items to take chances on (if you have something you would like to donate to the raffle there is still time) and we will also be announcing our first ever capital campaign. This $50,000 campaign is intended to help us acquire 70 plus acres surrounding Great Falls on the Narraguagus River. We have already raised over $125k for this property in grants, so we will soon be turning to our generous individual members and supporters to make this "must do" project happen by August of this year.
