7:00 AM - Washington County Travel Club’s Christmas Shopping Trip to Bangor will Benefit Eastport Arts Center - Washington County Travel Club and The Tide Radio will be offering a Christmas and Holiday shopping trip to Bangor for residents of Washington County, Maine and Charlotte County, New Brunswick. The shopping adventure will take participants to the Bangor Mall and surrounding shopping venues for an all day shopping trip. Lunch at the popular Oriental Jade restaurant is included in the price of the Bangor Holiday Shopping Adventure. The one-day outing will benefit The Eastport Arts Center. The cost of the trip is $65.00 US. Participants will travel round-trip on deluxe bathroom equipped motor coaches from Cyr Bus Lines. Departures will be from Eastport at 7:00 AM and from Calais at 7:30 AM. Tour Director Tess Ftorek and The Tide’s Kim Holmes will be on-board to make sure the trip runs smoothly. Bundle up very warmly, find a place with a wide-open sky view and no glary lights, lie back on the ground or in a reclining lawn chair, and watch the stars.
